This is a beta version of the Moses middleware. It is free software, distributed in the hope that it would be useful, but without any warranties. An open source distribution of the system is under consideration.
All the components of the Moses middleware are distributed in a single JAR file - called the distribution file. This file also contains third-party software used by Moses implementation: Jinni Prolog of Binnet Corp, and Xerces library of the Apache Software Foundation.
Since different browsers treat MIME types/extensions differently, in order to provide easy download, the distribution comes in two flavors - either with extension ".jar" or with extension ".zip". The content of the distibution is identical, in both cases.
