A Running Controller Infrastructure

The SEC (Security and E-Commerce) Laboratory maintains a running LGI infrastructure. This infrastructure is designed to be used publicly by Internet users interested in LGI . The infrastructure consists of a controller manager that maintains a number of running controllers: The following link provides access to the controller manager:

The controller manager and the controllers run in a computer cluster in the SEC lab, and it is maintained by the members of the lab. The SEC infrastructure is a best effort infrastructure: as such, the workload supported by the controllers is limited. Furthermore, there are occasional (sometimes frequent) down-times. Be patient with us, and remember that you can start your own infrastructure by downloading the moses package ( http://www.moses.rutgers.edu/download.html ). In order to use these controllers, follow the instructions below:

  1. Access the controller manager main page by following the link:
    http://jethro.rutgers.edu:9001
  2. Inspect the list of available controllers. Choose a controller based on its status and load.
  3. In order to create a human (web-based) agent on one of the controllers, follow the link under the host name of the controller. This link displays the main (statistic) page of the controller.
  4. Click on the "Create Agent/Connect to Controller" link on this page. Using one of the laws published in the examples section, create one or many agents and start to LGI interact.
  5. Alternatively, create an agent that is able to communicate in a token ring manner, as below.
